Is Heliobacter Presence Always Bad?

Hello,
I believe that I have a duodenal ulcer and perhaps an additional peptic ulcer. I have been able to nearly eliminate all symptoms (reflux, pain) with diet and regularly drinking cabbage juice. However, I can occasionally feel pain if I stray from this diet, and this indicates to me that the ulcers are still present.
If I am able to eliminate the symptoms completely through diet, should I still consider testing and treatment for H. pylori? I ask this question because I have read posts on this forum suggesting that Heliobacter can be beneficial for some populations (children and other groups). I haven't been able to find extensive information on the subject of H. pylori being beneficial, but I thought it was worth considering the necessity of treatment. At the same time, I don't want to let a potential problem go untreated. A little bit confused and seeking clarification..............

Thanks You!

if h. pylori gives you problem, you should get rid of it. it's benefit is still not fully understood and so it's not worth risking. H. pylori has been infected human for thousands of years. before the discovery of the treatment, people tried many things and none work better than antibiotics. many herbs tried and only treat the symptoms and not the root of problem. if h. pylori is not eradicated, ulcers will always come back.

I suggest you do a proper checkup, such as breath test, to find out if you are really infected by H. pylori and if you are, take proper antibiotics to get rid of it.
