Is Heliobacter Presence Always Bad?

Hello,
I believe that I have a duodenal ulcer and perhaps an additional peptic ulcer. I have been able to nearly eliminate all symptoms (reflux, pain) with diet and regularly drinking cabbage juice. However, I can occasionally feel pain if I stray from this diet, and this indicates to me that the ulcers are still present.
If I am able to eliminate the symptoms completely through diet, should I still consider testing and treatment for H. pylori? I ask this question because I have read posts on this forum suggesting that Heliobacter can be beneficial for some populations (children and other groups). I haven't been able to find extensive information on the subject of H. pylori being beneficial, but I thought it was worth considering the necessity of treatment. At the same time, I don't want to let a potential problem go untreated. A little bit confused and seeking clarification..............
Thanks You!
