This is a question for those that have taken the triple therapy for H-pylori. After it was confirmed that H-pylori was eradicated, how long afterwards did you experience stomach problems and what were they?

I think one of the most common side effect after eradication of H. pylori is acid reflux. It's not sure why. So scientist even suggested that H. pylori protect the host from reflux.

I finished my 2 week round of antibiotics last Tuesday and I have mild nausea and light cramps every now and then a week later. I will be retested on the 7th to see if I am free and clear. I don't know if I had an ulcer or not but I figure that right now it is just a waiting games to see if the stomach heals up. I definitely don't have the symptoms I had prior to starting the antibiotics though, so that is a plus. The down side is this dang nausea. It comes on at night and is a real pain.
