Hi Guys,

Need some advice. During the month of late Aug 2012, I was diagnosed with H Pylori. My specialist gave me a week of triple therapy antibiotic treatment and after was put on Pariet and Montilium. I completed the medications around mid Sept and went for the breath test in Early Oct and the results came back with a negative. But ever since I had completed the course of antibiotics, i have been feeling bouts of nausea off and on. There are no stomach discomfort or pain and my appetite is still ok. Only recently, where I tend to keep belching after consuming food or sometimes where i feel nauseous. When the belching takes place, I will feel abit better. I feel abit light headed as well recently.

This nauseous feeling is making me sick as it has been ongoing for 3 months now and I do not know what to do. I have been taking multi vitamins, acidophilus and trying to exercise by going to the gym to keep my mind off.

Has anyone experience the same? Thanks! :

usually patients feel nausea during treatment. rarely after treatment. Maybe you want to visit your GP to do another general checkup?

Hello there,

i just found out recently that i have h.pylori!! but my symptoms are different i have skin reaction, meaning if i stood for long after3 to 5 hours my foot will hurt and get red and stuff, that goes for any part of the body.my Dr said that is due to the h.pylori. and after the test it was showing clearly that i have h.pylori.

My question is: now i am done with my medication(some antibiotics )for 14 days ... i feel better in the stomach but i am still getting the skin reaction thing, the only way to avoid this reaction by taken allergy pills, which is not permanent solution. Any help will do, thanks

You should get a followup breath test at least 2 weeks after your treatment. Do not take any drugs or remedy that may alter your stomach pH during this 2 weeks waiting period.
