I had 1156 on my C14 test originally.
After the eradication therapy I got 6.
What is the average number in most people and what is the highest tolerable number to determine that it is completely gone (eg: 100, 200 etc.)?
And is 1156 high? I remember hearing a family friend have like 20,000 and a friend from work had ~12,000
1000 seems rather low..

hmm.. it depends on the manufacturer. But 6 sounds pretty low to me. If it is done correctly, eg. no antibiotics and PPI for at least 3 weeks. In our laboratory, a reading below 50 is considered negative. a reading between 50-300 is border line and we recommend a repeat after a month. any reading above that is considered positive and we have reading as high as 5000.
Anyway. CONGRATULATION!

I'd feel glad, but I still have incredibly powerful gastritis. To which I only found a temporary answer yesterday: Motilium.
For anyone else reads this (seeing as a LOT of google results lead to this forum) and is having trouble eating and has nausea, I've tried every god damn product known to man:
Manuka Honey, Licorice, Cabbage juice, carrot juice, mastic gum, antacids, PPI (aciphex/Pariet/nexium), H2 blockers (zantac)...
They are all rubbish and they all do NOTHING.
Only thing that has made the nausea go away and allow me to eat is Motilium (domperidone). It is god-like, and relatively cheap (8 days worth for $14)
