Hi everyone, for the past two months I have felt really unwell. It all started with nausea and then upper stomach pain. I then started vomitting and not being able to even eat soup. I went to my GP who sent me straight to hospital for test were they only found blood in my urine. I was sent home the next day, I had an ultrasound which was clear. I still felt awful so went back to my GP who said I still had blood in my Urine and gave me anti-biotics. I finished the course and went back to my GP as I still didnt feel any better. He prescribed me anti-acids and said to come back if I didnt feel well. I went back and the made me do a stool sample to check for Helio. This came back clear (the GP said it might not show up as I have had antibiotics and anti-acids) I have now been sent for a gastroscopy. I find if I dont eat my symptoms worsen. Please help??

helicobacter dont usually cause vomit. but you can do a breath test to check for helicobacter pylori infection. you will have to stop all antibiotic and acid reduction treatment for at least 2 to 3 weeks before the breath test.

The vomiting only lasted a week or so. I am just left with nausea, upper abdo pain. I am due for a Gastroscopy on the 4th. I have not taken any antiacids now for like 4 weeks.

so how do you feel now? any bloating, pain or reflux?

Still feel unwell. Got bloating, lots of nausea, pain and acid have settled but still there. Have got a gastroscopy on Wednesday.

how did the endoscopy go? hope you havent got any ulcers.
what did the gastroenterologist said?

They said I have gastritis and they took a bioposy to test for any bugs. I should get the results in 10to14 days

Hello everyone, My name is Gillian I live in the UK, I have had problems with a bloated burning feeling in my stomach for a few years now, I have had the camera down the throat treatment as they thought it was an ulcer or acid, that was a few years ago, but everything was fine, since I moved to Brighton West Sussex, the pain has got worse, my new Dr took some blood and said it looked like HP, I get a really bad burning pain and I look very bloated sometimes, I also have a very itchy head and legs, and have a feeling of a lump in my throat when I swallow, when I did cough something up it was green (sorry) my Dr gave me 2 lots of antibiotics but sad to say this only helped for the time I was taking them, he now says he thinks I will have it for life, this is where I need help I can not have this pain and bloated feeling all the time, has anyone got any advice on Maybe certain foods the could help or iritate it more, or maybe exercise, or maybe asking my doctor for something else that may help, I appreciate you taking the time to read this.

I think you need to get a proper check up. First, you need to stop any antibiotic or acid reducing drug for at least 3-4 weeks, then get a urea breath test.

if it comes back positive, then we will have to go through what medication you had been taking.

by the way, I think the green cough up has relation to H. pylori. you probably have multiple infection.

how about you list down the antibiotics you recently taken?

I was give Clarithromycin, Amoxicillin, Omeprazole, which I took for 10 days, when the pain then came back i was give more of the antibiotics for 7 days, but nothing since even though I still get the pain the doctor has told me if I get the pain just to take a Omeprazole
