My 9yr old daughter & HPylori :(

Hi
My 9year old little girl has had really bad ongoing stomach pains for over 2yrs now. For so long the doctors continually misdiagnosed her as just having constipation problems, even though i told them i knew that it was not this. Only in September of this year did our GP diagnose her as having Helicobacter Pylori. She has had one course of the 3type antibiotics and has also had a breath test that has shown that she is now Negative. BUT she has STILL been having major stomach pains and feeling very unwell, to the point where she looks like she is going to pass out and she is so weak, with no colour in her face and dark marks under her eyes. She is also getting a fever on and off. She also seems to get the worst pains when she hasn't emptied her bowels for 2 days, although she is NOT constipated at all. The doctors do not know what is wrong with her and she is currently on a waiting list for an "emergency" endoscopy.....however i am told that they are not classed as much of an emergency and she could well be on a waiting list for up to a year!!! Meanwhile, my poor little girl is in agony every day and missing so much of school because some days she is just not well enough to go and also cannot stand the pain enough to be there. She is currently taking Nexium 20mg, one tablet daily. PLEASE do you have any suggestions at all to help us with either a) anything else that will help her deal with this pain until she can get an endoscopy done??? regular paracetamol and ibuprofen do not help. b) any other tests that we can ask to be done by the doctors that can be done now to try and see what it is??? and c) what could possibly be causing her the pain/sickness if the bacteria is no longer there?? is it likely that she could have ulcers from this? and if so what can we do about it? I am getting to the point that it is not making me unwell with worry having to watch my gorgeous little girl suffer every day and i can do nothing about it
Any help or advice at all you can give us will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Michelle
