Does this sound good for a 6th treatment?

I'm just wondering about this combination and if you've heard of any success with this regimen:

PPI pantoloc 40mg x 2
amoxicillin 1000 mg x2
mycobutin (Canadian rifabutin) 300 mg x2
ciprofloxacin 500 mg x2

My doctor and I have discussed this and I'm about to try this combination as a 6th treatment (I've had 732 tablets in total to beat this infection).

Any thoughts? :?:
Thanks!

I think that is a very strong treatment. I hope you can get through with it. All the best!

Thank you Helico. I am a little nervous about this strong treatment.

Do you know if the rifabutin & ciprofloxacin are antibiotics that can be used again for future treatment if necessary? (hopefully not necessary).

I hope to write you back with good news. Thanks again for all that you have done here. I appreciate it. Bless you!

There is a famous H.pylori expert in China named Fulian Hu. She offers a suggestion for those people who had failed many times. Patients should wait for 3 to 6 months before they try another treatment. She says the H.pylori would turn to spherical after continuous treatments. And spherical H.pylori would be resistant to most antibiotic. I think this suggestion is rational. Maybe you should wait several months before next try. Good lucky for you!

I am 2 days away from finishing this treatment, however, the side effects have become unbearable (abdominal pain through to back, blood pressure dropped down dramatically, fever, nausea, unbelievable muscle/join pain). I've never had to stop an antibiotic before. My question is if there are treatments that are both 10 & 14 days, is there a danger stopping at day 12? Has it done what it should have by now?
I'll see my doctor tomorrow (the earliest I can, it's Sunday here).
Any one have similar experience/advice?

if you feel terrible, then you should stop. once the antibiotics are out of your system, the side effects should go away. it shouldnt take long for the antibiotics to be out of your system.

12 days is good enough. you have done well. there is no danger of stopping on day 12. let's hope for the best now.

For the recommended treatment includes a combination of drugs such as pantoprazole, amoxicillin, rifabutin and ciprofloxacin. I believe this is to be closely monitored for side effects and consult with a healthcare provider about the risks.poppy playtime chapter 3
