Where to obtain breath test w/o insurance?

Hello all,

I am a graduate student without insurance and suspect I have a duodenal ulcer. I called a local gastroenterologist and they said that I'd need a complete physical and an MRI - this seems like a bit much. Is there a way to find a local lab which will do the breath test, or a more economical way to obtain a diagnosis and a prescription (if necessary)?

I live in Boca Raton, Florida, if it helps.

Thank you

duodenal ulcer is very frequently related to H. pylori infection. We are based in Australia but I am sure there is breath test where you can get online, especially in US.

nevertheless, you'll probably need the PPI and antibiotics treatment and long term PPI until ulcer healed.
