can you take two Omeperazole (Prilosec) a day if you feel you are still producing too much acid? I have this feeling of acid in my throat and thought I might be still producing too much.

According to the Australia Medicine Handbook, you are allow to take up to 40 mg per day.

How about discuss with your doctor, switch it to Rabeprazole, a better PPI?
