If your burping carried acid, then you can take some H2 blockers to suppress it. Otherwise, hopefully your stomach will gradually adjust itself and your burping will go away.

increase secretion of stomach acid will not eradicate H. pylori.
however, more stomach acid means higher risk of peptic ulcer disease.
