My doc said that stool test is better than urea breath test.

Which one is better for certain result, helico_expert?

I still feel nauseous after meals. Things gone weird. I ate 4 slices of wholegrain breads and 6 egg whites at my breakfast and it was totally trouble-free, but I drank carrot juice and it caused harsh nausea. Fruits also irritate my stomach except banana. However, I'm ok with beans, lentils and chickpeas. Raw veggies, vegg juices and fruits irritate my stomach, damn. What's going on? :D

I really don't know what happens in my stomach. Docs don't know, too.

urea breath test is as good as stool test, at least in general. However, their accuracy may be differ according to who is running it. When your doctor said that Stool test is better, he probably felt that the laboratory running the UBT is not as experienced as the stool test. In my opinion, I would prefer UBT than stool test as it is much easier and convenient.

in regards to your diet, have you tried talking to a dietitian? maybe you have some kind of food allergies?

Stool test result is negative and now we have double confirm of negative result.

I feel better, but still not %100. Dropping my fat intake and red meat consumption seem work good enough. I just need more time to heal.

Thank you.

I would recommend to get the test done.
