thanks for reply.

My antibiotics course ended on tuesday. I am not having any burning sensation but i am feeling slight sensation on right side of stomach. I had few queries:
1) How many days usually it take after antibiotics therapy that stomach feels normal?
2) After how many days i should get tested for H pylori?
3) I am having ppi and probiotic capsules, can they be resposible for slight sensation that i am having?
4) I am taking Telmisartan for my blood pressure problem, can it cause any issues with stomach problem?

regards
thanks

ANS1: it's hard to tell when you will start feeling better. but it can range from day 1 to months. Most people starts feeling better right after antibiotic stops.

ANS2: 4 weeks after your treatment, without PPI for at least 2-3 weeks, you can do a follow up breath test.

ANS3: it is possible that PPI is giving you this "slight" sensation. Because your stomach is no longer acidic (during the period of having PPI). any organism can grow in your stomach. it's a big party down there.

ANS4: certain blood pressure drug does interact with antibiotics. you'll need to check with your pharmacist or doctor for drug drug interaction.
