So I'm on a strict diet of only veggies, chicken, bone broth, olive oil, probiotics, colloidal silver, kefir, and vegan and gluten free protien shakes. Lots of water. I still have nausea and loud stomach gurgling with gas..but overall a huge improvement. My stomach no longer feels like its turning inside out. I still won't know if I'm cured for another couple weeks, but of that last antibiotic treatment failed, I'm not doing another one. I'm done raping my stomach with shot that doesn't even fix it. Thanks for the help.

Just an update. Breath test confirmed that I am h pylori negative. I feel much better than I was, but still suffer with some stomach issues. Mostly nausea...its like my stomach is very sensitive and will get nauseous if I eat the wrong thing. I completed treatment last September. When should I feel 100% again? Or will that ever happen?

Congratulation that your treatment work. Unfortunately the recovery varies from person to person. Some people like myself feel great improvement immediately after treatment. Some members in this forum take months or years before they feel different. So, hopefully it wont take too long for you. Try not to think of it too much. Try positive thoughts. Try mint tea and probiotics.

What worries me is I was starting to feel normal again, then BAM! Feeling like I did when I completed treatment, which makes me worry that the h pylori is back. Is it possible that my son and husband have it, and I got it back from them?

it is very likely to get reinfection from partners. So to be sure, you can get everyone under the same roof to get a breath test.

Yes they can get the test, but then won't get treated if they are positive cus its not causing them problems. So I would just have to keep getting treated for it to come back? This is the part that doesn't make sense to me. Along with the fact that I can't redo the same treatment as last time...and the only two treatments I've done are the only ones I'm not allergic to. So do I need to just come to terms with the fact that I will suffer for the rest of my life?

they can get treatment even if they dont have symptoms. If they are all adults, I dont see a benefit carrying H. pylori.

I have pretty regular insomnia. For me going to sleep has been a nightly battle. I hate not having a sleep schedule, and I'm pretty sure I've watched an episode of just about every show on late night tv this point.
For me, the worst part is worrying about the health concerns attributed to it, as well as the side effects of sleep medication. I didn't like the idea of forcing sleep by drowning myself in sleeping pills, so I ended lying awake in bed every night.
I did a little internet research looking for alternatives, and I found an article interviewing Insomnia Specialist Dr. Gregg Jacobs. He advocates for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or (CBT). He conducted research which showed that it was very effective in the majority of his patients. I figured I had nothing to loose so I tried few things such as limiting my bed only for sleep and I found that it helped.
Here's the article

It helped, but I still found that I still couldn't sleep consistently. I looked around and discovered that he had a 5-week sleeping CBT therapy program online. I completed it worked for me! The program gave me tips and guidelines which helped me. I felt that having a program to keep me in line helped me stay consistent. This helped me, and I am sleeping regularly.
I would highly recommend it.
