The younger you are, the better chance of returning to 100%.
Then again, it depends on the type of damage done. Some damage can be permanent. So, getting rid of HP is really just preventing the situation getting even worse.
HP is just too sneaky. It's hiding in a region where acid destroys the antibiotics. So you need to have good dose of PPI to make the antibiotic effective.
