Well. Its been almost 4 months since i started the "Natural" fight against H.pylori.
Did the stool test last week -- Results today : NEGATIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What I did:
Clean eating -- Limited beef and greasy foods... Started falling off the wagon the last couple weeks.
... minimal alocohal - Most i had in a day was 3 beers and that was Last week.
For the first 2+ Months i had ZERO booze... Dont smoke cigarettes BUT i did have some puffs of mary jane.. couple times a week during the 3 months.
lots of water and tea... NO POP/COFFEE or Caffeine for almost 3 months.. I had a coffee yesterday.. YUM
Supplements :
Month 1:
BIO-HPF 2 pills x 3 times a day until bottle done(30 days)
I did notice constipation during this month and DARKKK stools .. which is expected due to the ingrediants.
Complete probitic in the morning and evening - 30 billion ctu
Month 2 & 3:
Started with mastic gum - 500 mg on empty stomach in the morning with warm water and organic apple cider vinegar + 500 with water before bed.
5 mg of L-Glutamine with water-- one time during the day
Complete probitic in the morning and evening - 30 billion ctu
Zinc Carnonsine - 2 pills twice a day in between meals
I had very little stomach pain during these 3 months.. Couple times last week when i had a big meal+ greasy food +desert. Expected"_
One of my docs laughed at me and the other was Sorta Supportive.
One of my good friends is a doctor and thought i was an idiot for not taking another Pumping of Antibiotcs.. Guess what? He was wrong!!
NOTE: Im not a doc.. please consult your Doc / Naturopath before doing anything.

i am glad that works for you. you are one of the very rare people who got treated with natural treatment. Although I am still doubtful with the stool test result, as long as you feel 100%, I guess it works for you.

I am somewhat in agreement with Helico_expert.
a) I had similar results as you, having NEGATIVE for endoscopy, but POSTIIVE on beathe test. That got me into taking my 2nd therapy 3years ago.
b) After my quad therapy, I was not feeling anywhere "better". Trusted that it might get better , but did not seem so.
c) Did my natural path...ate similar diets, and even took almost similar natural regime as you.
d) Retook my UBT after 12 months of my quad, but was just off probiotics for 1 week....NEGATIVE. It was a 2-point test, and it showed a cut-off between 10 to 20 mins. Which means, the value did not go higher or lower between 10-20 minutes, and way below half of the positive mark.
As usual, I do not think I got "rid" of H.pylori. The thought is that...it just got "controlled".
I have to monitor them perhaps now on my yearly medical check ups.
Call me "over"fixated with this H.pylori drama...but it has cause so many torments in my life....
I pray that the medical line is able to bring us closer to a "vaccine" to eliminate this once and for all.
I want to thank helico_expert for helping so many people in this forum, and patiently explaining things to us. Greatly appreciated.

Hi Power1,
nice to see you again. it's always valuable to have old members sharing their experience in the forum. I cant remember if I have asked you to a check up from dietitian or immunologist. Maybe you have some unknown food allergy?

Nope, I have not check up on a dietician.
I have tried to be "clean" on my diet...but i do cross the border eating a fried chicken, chunking on a box of cookies or so ....
I took milk totally out 3 years ago...but took Greek Yoghurt; still lacking calcium.
I tried and test Cheese, and it seems to go OK .
My only slight dilemma which took me to this path 3 years ago, was the "after-dinner" bloat that I have in the evening.
I tend to eat less during dinner now...and the bloat is slightly out the way, when i do a casual evening walk after that.....

My stomach does feel 100 better.. Sure my Diet has changed but the changes are for the better anyways..The last couple weeks i had wings and even a steak.. no bad side effects.
I guess i could ask to get a breath test done too.. but why keep searching for a Postive result after receiving a negative?
My whole thing was not to go through the onslot of Antibiotics unless completely necessary, like i said previously, I had little to no stomach issues once the doc gave me back the Postive result, so instead of taking the QUAD therapy.i thought WHY NOT give natural stuff a shot.
It was a long 3 months -- Lots of pills and following a strict regiment but once i got the negative result back. I figured im ok ... for now
I still keep up with a daily probiotic and cut out most of my diary(used to drink milk like an 6 year old boy) ,, I stick to the occioncal chocolate milk or ice cream. Vs. Skim milk as my refreshment of choice.
Anyways, the moral of my story is call it what you want but in some cases for Some people Natural methods DO work and ofcourse Big Pharma can not work... like it didnt for me.

Thanks for sharing your view too Cityfisher. Like I said, it's important to have input from old members. especially commenting on the poor effectiveness of natural products.
