Fair enough!
I was wondering what your thoughts are on Aloe Vera Juice for digestive health or even for h. pylori problems? There is a bit of a craze out there right now about this stuff, and Ive read a lot of people praising its use. I was curious if you had any personal opinion or insight on its use. Ive read claims of it controlling Acid Reflux problems better than PPI's from people, or people with IBS or other stomach/digestive issues seeing substantial improvement. Ive used Aloe for burns and sunburns since I was little, and it works wonders in that regard, but I had never thought of drinking the juice/gel from the plant until Ive begun all this research on H. Pylori and digestive health. You can buy the stuff by the gallon at CVS or even Walmart for about $8- $10 a jug. Im slow to buy into hype however until I see some hard facts. People rave about High PH water as well (PH of 9.0+) praising it as a miracle in a bottle but Ive seen doctors refute that craze, telling people its a waste of money. I may try the aloe vera after H. Pylori treatment to see what the fuss is about, but I dont want to take it while on treatment because I don't know how it may affect absorption of the antibiotics in the stomach. Im also reluctant to ingest such things with no research out there to tell me how it can affect the body with long term use. The claim is that Aloe Juice reduces inflammation and helps regulate the gut. The thing that peaks my interest is that it helps with inflammation, and could potentially help with the healing of Ulcers or stomach sores caused by H. Pylori, or even in the esophagus due to Reflux. Perhaps it could be a good Post treatment addition to help the stomach heal and recover? Or, is it just hype and another alternative medicine craze?
