if your H. pylori is resistant to antibiotics, your symptom will come back straight after you stop PPI.

I feel the same way. I completed triple therapy three weeks ago and tested negative via breath test. I don't feel as bad as I did prior to the antibiotics but I still feel abdominal discomfort. It isn't necessarily just around meals, and the pain isn't horrible but it's always there. I hope your symptoms get better. It's been two months of hell for me as well. Doctors tell me it it takes time to recover from the inflammation left by HP but I guess I'll set up an appt. for an endoscopy.

if you read through this forum, you'll find some members only feel better after 6 months post treatment. Anyway, try to eat healthy, lots of fruits and hope you can get back to normal asap.

Did you ever find out if you still had it? I'm going thru the same symptoms... Just did stool and breath test yesterday. I'm so anxious to find out the results. I'm so sick of feeling sick, I can't take care of my son, and just look forward to when I can go back to sleep once I wake up. I feel like my stomach is full of gas bubbling n gurgling in my stomach to the point where Iget nauseous. No antinausea meds help and sometimes make it worse, and i am emetophobic. I know it takestime to feel better but iI feel just like I did before treatment. I'm so terrified of having to go thru another round of treatment, and feel as tho I will never get better

Funny thing is, the more you think about it, the more likely you'll fail your treatment. So, relax and wait for your test result. And also, even if your treatment didnt work last time, you can always take another treatment. Eventually, they'll be taken care of. All you need to know is that you do not have cancer. It's only a matter of time to be better.
