is it ok to take probiotic capsules while on omeprozole? trying to put some good bacteria back in my stomach, dont think my stomach liked the quadrupple therapy, my stomach has felt very swollen

Hi, still having problems with my stomach, doctor retesting me for h pylori. My question is, my symptoms are not as bad as when i was first diagnosed back in august, so could the h pylori still be there even if my symptoms are not as bad. or would things not improve? ive had medication twice now, last one was about november,

the only way to tell is to get a follow up urea breath test. if it eradicated, all you need to do is wait for it's recovery. if it's not, you'll need to get a different set of antibiotics.

Hi, just found out, h pylori gone, am i expecting to much for my symptoms to be completly gone , took quadrupple therapy for 2 weeks at begining of november and I had an awfull time taking them, thanks for your advice

the recovery can take some time. Some ppl do develop IBS problem and diet change seems helpful. anyway, the good news is H. pylori is gone.
