There is a highly interesting article about a research confirming efficacy of bismuth in killing drug-resistant bacteria. This seems to explain the high-success rate of bismuth-based H.Pylori therapies. The scientists believe that bismuth could be used concomittently with antibiotics not only for H.Pylori eradication but also for treating other bacterial infections.
