Hi folks. I had an endescopy a month agp - found 2 small ulcers but tested negative for h pylori. That said - my symptoms are such that i need to get re-tested.
Im getting the breath test next week. Would you suggest to do stool/blood tests at the same time? I just wanna get a definite answer on this. My anxiety is overwhelming (and its not just the pandemic)

It's interesting how you get ulcers. some ulcers are caused by NSAIDs. So make sure you are not taking any.

also, because H. pylori only colonised on healthy tissues. If the biopsy is taken from the ulcer, then likely H. pylori is missed. Not many doctors know that.

I think a breath test is good enough. Blood test is only useful if you are able to get the laboratory to give you the anti-H. pylori antibody concentration.

stool test is as accurate as breath test.
