UBT Testing equipment

Breath tests are the most accurate way of detecting H.pylori without actually having an endoscopy (stomach examination). Breath tests are especially useful after treatment to make sure H.pylori is cured. Urea breath tests are known to be completely harmless. Either C14-urea or C13-urea tests are used. Read about them at the diagnosis section at http://www.helico.com/diag_breath.html where a diagram can be found. C14-urea breath tests use a radioactive tracer but such a tiny amount that it can be used safely at any age. It is a 15 minute test, convenient and inexpensive. The C13-urea test uses a stable isotope of carbon which is also harmless but requires two breath samples and takes about 30 minutes. Both tests have accuracy greater than 90%.

Dear Chritvas,

I recommand you to buy Richen-force‘s IR-force 200 for your clinic. Compared to other brands, it is cost-effective. Its owner: Mr Gong Aihua, has been dedicated to the breath test field since 1998, who is very familiar with this project. The IR-force 200 is at its fourth generation, you can see its technology is very advance.
Well, you may ask why I know so much. Because I am the International Manager of this company. For more information, pls log on our website.

Good luck!
Kylie

Hi,

The most common Urea breath test used in UK is http://www.infai.co.uk/products/helicobacter.php

You might want to check it out.

Kind regards,

I don't see any discussion about C14 urea breath tests here so I need to provide balance. The PYtest, marketed worldwide by Tri-Med and manufactured now by Kimberly Clark in Utah USA, is still the most cost effective. The tracer of C14 is so trivial that it is has been used freely in the USA for about 14 years now. For laboratories, several people can do the test at once. A very accurate machine called the "Microcount" makes reading the test foolproof. To find out how to get it, contact Tri-Med Distributors via the website at http://www.trimed.com.au. 8-)
