Duodenal erosions

Ulcers of the duodenum and stomach are called peptic ulcers. H.pylori causes most ulcers; other causes are aspirin and arthritis type drugs (NSAIDS). Ulcers can also be in the oesophagus but these are not caused by H.pylori.

Duodenal erosions

Post by sim324 »

Hello !
Im in serious worry about my health and thought maybe someone could help me please. I had an encounter with black mold years ago in my previous home and have dealt with chronic inflammatory response syndrome, skin tingling and some brain fog ever since. I recently had a stressful period in my life, used too many NSAIDs and developed some erosions in my duodenum which were found through endoscopy. I have had nausea and weird dull pains under my right rib cage for close to 2 months now. At the moment im taking Nexium 40mg and have been taking it for 22 days and it seems to alleviate the symptoms, but wont clear them out totally. Sometimes I feel the pain more than other days. Im wondering if the chronic inflammatory response syndrome and mycotoxins prolong the healing process or prevent it from healing ? I have tested negative for all the other parasites and helicobacter.
Im really desperate and would like my normal life back.
I wonder if I would order zinc carnosine and GI Regenerate would they get rid of erosions ?

Dont know if the GI Regenerate thing is fake or not cause it actually seems to have 22 patents aswell.
I would be grateful for any suggestions or help please ! :)

NSAIDs reduces your stomach mucus and the acid is damaging your stomach. Hence stomach ulcer. If you have to take long term NSAIDs, you will have to have to take long term PPI to protect your stomach.

Thanks !
I wonder if the condition is reversable ?
I feel alot better on H2 antacids, PPIs didnt seem to help much. Alleviated the symptoms, but didnt cure them. Im afraid the toxic mold exposure I had years ago plays a part in it not healing properly. Im still having pains and also pain in the back. Just ordered zinc carnosine and mastic gum, hoping they will help. Its weird because erosions should heal without scar tissue. I also have mast cell activation disorder from the mold, maybe that also plays a part.

the erosion is reversible. however, i am not expert of mold and cannot comment further. nevertheless, after treatment, you should do a follow up to make sure HP is completely eradicated. Then, perhaps next year, you can do another endoscopy to check your erosion.
