I went on quad therapy and treated hpylori regular stool antigen and endoscopy biopsy show negative now. I have gastritis and inflammation in my small intestine.

Issue is… I asked my naturopathic doctor for a GI MAP to see and confirm how my GI tract is doing. So my GI MAP is showing positive hpylori (after treatment). It’s showing 120 bacteria from the stool sample I sent in (1.2e2).

Is it possible to ever fully eradicate hpylori 100%??

Can the 120 bacteria breed and populate and grow?

Will I end up more sick again?

Should I go on more antibiotics or can I do natural remedies?

Please help me!!!

H. pylori can be eradicated 100%
However, the recovery is depending on individual.
Usually the younger you are, the higher chance of return to normal.
In addition, only antibiotics are able to get rid of H. pylori.

I don’t know what is suitable in India. India is a big country.
Have you done a breath test or any other tests to confirm HP infection?
If yes, perhaps you can try the standard triple therapy + bismuth salt?

It can re-grow. I tried lots of natural treatments and now did antibiotics. I felt well for a few weeks and then symptoms returned. You really have to make sure you do not get reinfected from your partner. My partner is asymptomatic and tested very high on GI Map multiple times.
