3yrs suferring surrefing from H.Pylori plssss help me Dr.Barry

Hi Doctor,
Saw someone posting the noble prize award-Congratulations on that.

Could you please let me know the treatment for this.

Three years back in florida one gastroenterologist prescribed antibiotics
Metronidazole
Clarithromycin
Pantaprezole

took for 14days,

side effects were

Palpitations
muscle weakness
Nerves weekend
lost 22lbs
brain fog
gas
many more
all the above symptoms i still have till date, been 3yrs
I am still positive, dint want to take antibiotics as afraid of the sideeefects, please advice me.

Feel i am going back to day 1 three years back.

Edoscopy colonoscopy done Jan 22-All normal but some comment said-"squamocolumnar mucosa with reactive epithelial change"and gastro suggested to take TAlicia-doctor wrote unremarkable Eep.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hi,

Sorry to hear what happened to you. Unfortunately antibiotic is the only way to get rid of H. pylori for now. Are you allergic to amoxicillin? How do you know if you still have H. pylori now?
