Hi, Can anybody advise, please?
Had gastritis symptoms in October 2021, and went to my GP who tested me for HP and it was positive that I was prescribed Nexium hp7 for a week.
After one month, I got UBT and it was positive again and this time I was given Furazolidone 100mg /Levofloxacin 500mg /Nexium 20 mg for 14 days triple therapy
I am not sure about those strong antibiotics that might cause some serious side effects

Can the expert here give some advise? Thanks.

Furazolidone can be nasty. But it's up to individual. Some patients took it without any side effects.

Levofloxacin can affect your tendon. So dont do too much sports during the treatment period.

Have you completed the treatment already?

Hi, I just finished the first week with barely any side effects so far. I hope the second week will stay the same
