first of all, H. pylori doesnt normally present on the hand. Unless that person just finish cleaning up someone's vomit. In olden days, where husband always end up vomiting at home after a round of beer, that's probably the best way of transmitting H. pylori.

Then, H. pylori is very sensitive to heat, salt, spices, chilli, etc... so your cooking will kill all H. pylori.

In conclusion, it's not easy to catch H. pylori from cooked food.

Today I had an endoscopy and CLO test and unfortunately it is still HP positive, but the antral gastritis is healed. Could this mean I got reinfected from my family at some point?
The doctor did an antibiotic susceptibility test and the result will come out on 1/1/21. But at this point, I want to postpone treatment because living in a big family made me feel like I will just get reinfected by them. Any recommendation for me?

why not get everyone to check up?

however, if everyone looks after their hygiene, there is little chance of infecting each other.
we have seen many married couples who live together for decades, one is positive and the other is negative, they never infect each other.
