Brown Seaweed or Bladder-wrack seaweed

I have come across a few sites, and clinics that claim to use this as a treatment.
Here is an extract:
In our clinic, our protocol is to supplement with Bladder-wrack seaweed capsules on an empty stomach. The bacteria loves Fucose, a simple sugar found in Bladder-wrack and mushrooms. Leaving the stomach walls, the adult H. pylori attach to the bladder-wrack and is carried out of the stomach.
Once in the small intestines, good quality, alkaline bile kills the bacteria. When I order a fecal material testing for H. pylori, I know the patient does not have a very alkaline bile. Supplementing with lecithin granules, and the amino acids, Taurine and glycine, on an empty stomach provides the liver with the material to convert cholesterol into a good quality bile.
I then came across these studies:

This was an Australian study which might be off interest to you.

I was wondering if anyone has tried it, or any effectiveness in using this. I will always use antibiotics but was just wondering how useful this was.
