hmm.. my 1st preference would be a proper C14 breath test. If not available, then only endoscopy for RUT and histology.
you can try some ranitidine and see if that ease your symptoms.

I am still having HP bacteria, this month end going for endoscopy and susceptibility test in KMH Manipal.
Eradication depends on many things and eradication rate in India seems below average and not many doctors have full knowledge and lab facility to diagnose and treat in correct way.

What is the current state of treatment now as I am facing same issue as this.I am from Nigeria too and I have tried like 4 treatment plan too without success.I also have low breathe test count.
In my own case symptoms usually resolve once I start antibiotics and then resume like a day or two after stopping antibiotics treatment .
I am also planning on going for susceptibility testing but the fear of the endoscopy is still causing the delay.The bug has really made life miserable for me.

I underwent antimicrobial susceptability test for two times, but the doctor could not isolate HP both times. First time histology came positive for HP, but second time it came negative. My doctor was of the opinion that HP is gone and even if it exists it will be in very low load. Its almost 6 months since then, I am on PPI. I am again to visit for follow up. I still feel gastritis burning symptoms. But I have another problem now, that is GERD, which was not there earlier. I need to undergo surgery for GERD. I will visit by doctor next month and get histology done again to check if HP is still there or not. Will keep you posted.

Just a reminder, if you are on PPI, histology may give false negative.
must ask pathologist to look for active gastritis cells.
perhaps you can switch to H2 blockers for two weeks before endoscopy.
