Third treatment

Hello,

I am currently going through my third eradication treatment. First one, a year and half ago was 10 days Clarithromycin, Omeprazole and Metronidazole, basically made symptoms return shortly. My GP at that time didn't want to send me check up test - only endoscopy which I rejected (I had a very traumatic experience and with cut vain during tonsils removal and I barely manage a dentist). Symptoms were manageable with Lansoprazole. I noticed that Omeprazole is making me feel worse.

This summer after I had pizza, I just got horrible symptoms that are not going away ever since. Late July, after I tested positve, my new GP put me on same combo of medications (Lansoprazole instead of Omeprazole) , but only 7 days. In advance I knew that it will not work if it didn't work first time, but I had to comply. I had horrible symptoms during (burning pain while defecating, gut pain etc - usual aftermath of disturbed microbiome).

During recovery, I ended up in ER due to abdominal pain on both right and left side radiating into back, also lower abdomen, and in the center, where stomack is. They have found nothing. They basically told me it's probably in my head. In time things started to look better as I continued with PPI - this time with Pantoprazole that somehow works the best for me and Buscopan when I feel pain.

Four weeks after treatment I tested positive again.

Now I am on 8. day of Metronidazole (3x500mg), Tetracycline (4x500mg), Pepto Bismol (4 times a day) and Pantoprazole (2x40mg). I felt quite well until yesterday when I had sushi and tiny slice of cake after weeks of bland food) and pain is back on top of usual sporadic gut pain (burning pain during defecation also returned 5. day of antibiotics like last time) as well as sleep deprivation as I have to take medications 8 times a day.

Three years ago I had a gallbladder removal.

I feel really discouraged because I hoped this treatment will work, and now it seems it doesn't. I have had detailed blood work, ultrasound (to check eventual stones in bile ducts) of abdomen and detailed gynecological exam to exclude other potential causes.

My question is, can these trouble persist even if eradication treatment is successful? ANd as I have pain, can I take Buscopan on top of all these medications? Is there anything else I can do to get over this?

Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
