I read a research paper saying that patients with HP gastritis were found low VitD in their blood which may be related to autoimmune that is triggered by HP. A friend of mine had chronic gastritis before. He found his gastritis recovered after he took 2 months VitD supplement for strengthening his bone.

That's an interesting find. I believe that certain autoimmunity can be triggered by HP.

That’s interesting, my doctor reviewed my FBC 10 days after he said everything was fine and told me my vitamin D was low too( the tests were took on the same day I started triple therapy), I work outdoors for 40 hours a week so that was a surprise to me.

My blood tests back to last Apr (before treatment) and Aug (3 months after treatment) showed ANA was positive (but not so significant). Other autoimmune indicators were normal. I have talked to my Dr about Vitamin D and I just start taking VitD supplement. Hope it will help. My Dr didn't let me to do VitD blood test.
