Extreme Fatigue After Treatment for H.Pylori

I recently underwent treatment for an acute H.Pylori infection. The treatment was as follows:

Metronidazole - 250mg x 4/day
Tetracycline - 250 mg x 8/day
Omeprazole - 40 mg x 2/day

As horrific as the treatement was (causing all sorts of problems and side effects which were ultimately worse than the symptoms from the infection itself) I finally made it through a greuling 2 weeks of hell. After stopping the antibiotics, I felt much better for a few days, was finally able to workout again and feel somewhat normal. Then on the 3rd day, I felt so exhausted I could barely move. I felt like I had mono (even though I do not, I have already had it and been checked for it). It has been 10 days since I have been off the treatment and I am so exhausted. And of course, i have Acid Rebound which is making me severely nauseous to the point of having to vomit. Being that my body unfortunately has issues vomiting, I am stuck with the feeling all day with no relief.

I just wondered if anyone else had severe fatigue after stopping the treatment? I'm so tired If i sit down, I will end up passing out. I could sleep all day and it's making it very difficult for me to go back to work. Any information on this would help. Thank you so much.

wait for another two weeks and you can get another breath test and see if your previous treatment is successful. Hopefully you are feeling better by now.
