Hi, a month after your first treatment, you should go see your GP and ask for a breath test. it is possible that your first treatment did not completely remove the bacteria.

Hi, it is possible to catch the bug again. However, it is more likely that the bug was not completely removed in your previous treatment. You can always go back to your GP and ask for a breath test. It's very easy and non-invasive.

i think we should wait for the test result. Hopefully it's due to H. pylori because it is easier to treat.

Hi, do you mean your son is allergic to the medication to get rid of H. pylori? if so, he should stop taking the medication and visit the doctor for alternative. I don't think H. pylori will give such reaction. Any other food he has taken?

Hi, it's actually quite hard to catch H. pylori by sharing food. but not sharing food not only reduce risk of transmitting H. pylori, not sharing food also reduce risk of all other pathogens. so it's a good practice i suppose. I do hope it is by helicobacter pylori. at least helicobacter can be relatively easy to remove. go back to your GP and get some antibiotics to remove your helicobacter pylori. unfortunately the symptoms may stay a while even after H. pylori eradication.
