Ok so I'm a bit confused regarding the acid portion linked to h pylori. Is it; 1. H pylori makes your stomach create more acid, which means acid volume goes up in the stomach Or 2. It makes stomach acid more acidic, meaning volume stays the same but the pH of the acid itself gets more acidic? So whe...

Resistance to Metronidazole is high in this area, around 50%, and low to tetracycline. They prescribe rifabutin only for Tuberculosis.

Do not stop antibiotics treatment, or skip a day.
H pylori can build resistance to them if you don't finish them making it harder to eradicate.

Day two post antibiotics, today is not a good day. Shortness of breath pretty much all day.

Is there a way to know if current h pylori symptoms are due to acute or chronic infection?

My lymph count is normal.

I do however have a slightly elevated eosinophil count, but I've always had it for years.

I did notice a high ddimer, not alerting high. But high, wo der if it is associated with h pylori, as I've read that ddimer may also be a inflammatory marker? Idk though.

The helicobacter stool test results have come back negative. Hopefully this is a true negative because I was off omeprazole for 19 days before taking the test.
